Nike Bomber Jacket & Cargo Pants — 3D Digital Apparel

This digital streetwear project breaks down the full 3D garment production pipeline for a modern urban outfit. The look centers around a classic dark nylon Nike bomber jacket layered over a clean white crewneck, paired with heavy-duty olive green cargo pants.

The process kicked off in Marvelous Designer, where the actual 2D clothing patterns were drafted, sewn, and simulated to capture the authentic drape, weight, and seam placement of the fabrics. Once the base simulation was locked in, the meshes were brought into ZBrush to sculpt the micro-details. This phase focused on adding memory folds to the thick canvas of the cargos, refining the tension around the jacket's ribbed collar and cuffs, and polishing the seam puckering. The final asset was textured using a standard PBR workflow to nail the subtle satin sheen of the bomber jacket contrasting against the matte finish of the pants. The project breakdown includes the MD workspace patterns, raw ZBrush clay sculpts, and the final lit renders.
